Talia Bella is an accomplished producer from Buenos Aires, Argentina. She immigrated to the United States in 2001 following Argentina’s economic crash. In 2009 she started a cause marketing agency called Closets for Causes.
The agency would clean out celebrity closets, auction of their items to their fans and donate a portion of the proceeds to the non-profit of the celebrity’s choice. This was coupled with a PR and digital campaign that she produced from the ground up. While the agency successfully generated over 500K in donations to various non-profits, she struggled to make the concept a success. At an activation for her company at Sundance 2015 she met a producer there who offered her a job in film production.
Following shortly she went on to work for Rabbit Bandini, James Franco’s production company. Under the Bandini banner she produced 5 feature films before she decided to make a move in the commercial world and took a full time position, in-house at Apple’s ad agency. There she produced spots directed by Gus Van Sant, Derek Cienfrance and Alfonso Cuarón. After a few years, she left to go freelance where she produced for all of the top brands: Nike, ADIDAS, Huawei, Lexus, etc. Her innovative approach and creative eye have earned her prestigious awards including The Telly, Clio, and the coveted Grand Prix.
In 2019, she moved to Oklahoma and co-founded Rebellium Films. Talia specializes in maximizing film subsidies and incentives, skillfully navigating budgets to maximize soft money without compromising quality.
Kahlie Metz is a storyteller of many hats. A graduate of the American Musical and Dramatic Academy, she spent almost a decade in Los Angeles as an actor, later studying at the Beverly Hills Playhouse and Gordon Hunt Studios. While tasked with creating a short film for a class project, she got bit by the filmmaking bug and hasn’t looked back. Excited by the budding Oklahoma film scene, she made the move to Tulsa in 2021 and immediately landed a Director’s Mentorship. She also holds a Professional Certificate in Screenwriting from Act One Hollywood. She is honored to be part of the thriving and familial Oklahoma film industry, and believes that storytelling is a sacred art form that has the power to change the world.
